Why Me?

There’s no known reason why sulphite sensitivity occurs in some people and not in others, or even not in close family members.

One medical view is that the intolerance or allergy is caused by a prior exposure to some virus that is not unlike the sulphite.  The body recognizes it as some long-conquered invader, and simply cranks up the defences again.  Nonetheless, it’s something you have, and it’s something you need to deal with.
